Frequently Asked Questions
Sounds Great! How do I start?
Give us a call and we'll answer any other questions you might have. There are no contracts and you "Pay as You Go." We'll meet with you to arrange access to your property and give you a Starter Pack. There is a waiver to sign to allow us access and then you're done! With our Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee you've got nothing to lose . . . but the poop!
Do I have to be home for the first appointment?
Not necessarily . . . but we have some documents for you to read and
a waiver to sign. LawnDoodles will email the Customers Only link
to you for the documents and the Permission Waiver. If the dogs
are going to be outside - we would like you to be there for the
introduction. A deposit is also required if you are not going to
be available for the first appointment.
Are there any start-up fees?
All services may be assessed an Initial Clean Up Fee at the time of our first service. If there is an extremely large amount of accumulated waste you may be charged extra. If the area is small or there is no accumulation, the fee will be waived. We'll quote the amount prior to your service. |
|
How about our wonderful Northwest weather? Do you still work in the rain and snow?
Absolutely! Rain is just a fact of life here, so we'll still keep your yard poop-free even if the doodles are pretty sloppy. Snow can delay our services - because we can't find new doodles if they're covered by fresh snow. Occasionally, when the weather is REALLY bad, we'll reschedule your service to the earliest possible date. Notices of postponement will be listed on the Customers
page. Of course we'll pick up any accumulation when we return.
|
What if I'm going out of town or having guests and want to delay services?
Just give us at least a 24 hour notice and we'll suspend our services and reschedule. You can use the convenient form on our Customers page or give us a call. We'll adjust your billing accordingly.
Any other benefits?
If we see any changes in your pet's doodles, we'll leave you a notice. Things such as worms, blood, diarrhea, parasites, and foreign objects can be signs of serious health problems. For a small fee we can even collect a stool sample and deliver it to your veterinarian. |
I've got a really small dog - do I get a discount?
Well, the doodles are a lot harder to find than those of a bigger dog, so no, sorry.
Just what do you do with all that . . . er . . . poop?
In King and Pierce Counties the Doodles are collected and bagged, then
placed in your provided waste receptacle. Doodle haul-away is
included in your service in the Thurston, Mason, and Kitsap County
areas. We dispose of the waste properly and in accordance with local, county and state regulations.
What if I forget to unlock my gate or leave Cujo in the yard?
We don't like to break and enter, and we really don't like to get bitten . . . so if this is the first occurrence, we'll leave notice we were there and reschedule. If it happens a second time, you will be charged for a week's service. LawnDoodles services will be scheduled on a specific day - but not necessarily a specific time - unless we make other arrangements. |

How about billing? Do you take credit cards?
Our services are pre-paid with monthly billing due on the 20th for the upcoming month. In the interest of saving paper we offer email statements and
automatic recurring payment through PayPal or you can fill out the
Authorization form for monthly credit or debit card payments. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, echecks, and Discover
Card. No computer access? We'll be happy to mail your invoices.
Are you a franchise?
No, we're a locally owned business that's been operating since
2005.
